The first direction I call in is Sachamama, the Great Serpent. The serpent teaches us to shed. So we want to work on first whatt does that person need to let go of. What do they need to shed? Shedding the past like a snake sheds its skin. We want to focus on shedding it all at once. We want to focus on rapid release. But we also want to look at what are the triggers. Snakes are very reactionary creatures, humans are very reactionary creatures. The reactions, the triggers, show us where we’re not healed yet and we often..."

Amber Putt: "In a Human Design Session with me what you can expect is we’re going to look through the basic mechanics of your body graph to start. I really like people to feel empowered to understand what the body graph looks like. So we are going to identify all the components of the body graph at a basic level/ basic understanding, define them, and then we will figure out what they are.

And then from there we’ll expand on some of the more important, larger themes of their design. This would include their type, their strategy, their authority, their profile lines (or some people would call them life lines). We will also go over their magic wand gift which, for anybody that is looking or has a knowledge of what that would mean, that would be their conscious sun sign.

After we go through all of those things we’re going to leave some space for some more dialogue, conversations, questions. That’s really what they’re going to receive when they come to me for the first time for a Human Design Session."

The Lakota term Inipi means “to live again.” Inipi is a purification rite and is necessary to help the vision quest seeker enter into a state of humility and undergo a kind of spiritual rebirth. Prayers offered there draw on all the powers of the universe — Earth, Water, Fire and Air. In the old days, Inipi was done before any significant undertaking to purify the body and gain strength and power. The actual lodge is a dome constructed of 16 young willow trees placed in a circle, traditionally covered with hides so no light could penetrate inside. On the outside, the site’s formation comprises an earth mound just outside the door of the lodge, facing east, and a fire pit containing stones. The fire represents the sun. Another mound partially encircling the fire pit represents the crescent moon. This is the outer world or cosmos; the inner world is the lodge. It represents the womb of the universe from which souls are created anew. Prayers are said at each stage of the construction of a lodge. When it is completed, burning coal is brought in, and sweetgrass is burned by the leader of the Inipi to purify the lodge. The pipe is smoked and carried outside, where it is placed on the mound of earth. The other participants enter the lodge, sitting in a circle on sacred sage, and the pipe is brought in and smoked. The heated rocks are placed on the central fireplace, and the pipe is returned to the earth mound. Then, the door is closed. The door is thrown open four times during the ritual to represent the four ages described by the Sacred White Buffalo Calf Woman. The fourth time, participants leave the lodge, emerging from dark to light, representing the liberation from the physical universe. All that is impure is left in the lodge.
